Time and time again, we continue to battle expectations and set the proper expectations. Typically when something happens and something goes wrong, it comes down to communication and setting the right expectations. Sometimes we get caught up and don’t document benchmarks and it’s too late to do it once the project and work have started.
If the expectations are super high, you may not price it properly then you’re getting paid less for more work. There’s no way to go back and change it in that situation.
Do your due diligence to set the right expectations from the beginning.
