Lead generation Magnets, the gift that keeps song given what is happening. This is Erik J. Olson. A couple months ago I wrote a lead generation magnet, and it’s called Everything You Need to Know About Hiring a Digital Marketing Agency that is on our website. We have guides. If you go to thisisarray.com, you’ll see that there is a menu item named guides, and you can download that for free. You can also download some other guides that are very similar. There’s another one that’s called something like, How Much Does Digital Marketing Cost. Now, these are common concerns of people when they are considering hiring a digital marketing agency. They wanna know what the cost is. They wanna know what they need to, what they don’t know about hiring a digital marketing agency. And when they download one of these things, it’s a pretty clear indicator that they are thinking about hiring a digital marketing agency.
And guess what? I wanna be part of that conversation. I wanna be thought part of that thought process. And so I took the time to create what we call a lead generation magnet. Now, what it is, is an ebook. It’s about 20 pages along the one that’s called Everything you Need to Know About Hiring a Digital Marketing Agency. So in 20 pages, I provide really the answer and, and this is the answer. Like I would give somebody if, if I was just talking to them, they’re like, Hey, what do I need to know about hiring a digital marketing agency? And I’m like, Oh, well, I mean there’s, you know, there’s a lot of things. First I would check this first, you know, second, I would, I would ask these kinds of questions. Third, you need to know like about their services, blah, blah, blah.
But throughout there I’m giving them advice and I’m also saying, Hey, if you want more detailed information about your situation, schedule a consultation here. And then also there’s an email, like a series of emails that go out after they download it. And eventually we’ll give ’em a call. So lead generation magnets are fantastic. We’ve, we’ve never gotten as many leads here Array Digital as we have since we’ve launched the lead generation magnet. And we promote it with an ad on LinkedIn. That LinkedIn ad is targeted to managing partners of law firms, our ideal prospective, prospective clients. And, and that generates a lot of leads, which is just amazing because it’s this like continual marketing machine for us. I wrote that once I created the ads once. I do tweet the ads every once in a while, but not massively anymore. They just run on autopilot. I pay the bill to LinkedIn for advertising and we just continuously get links and, and it’s fantastic. I wish I would’ve done it years ago. Now, we, we had, we, we did do this years ago. So, but, but the difference is we only had it on our website and maybe like in another place or two, but we never ran paid ads to content. And I think that’s the big difference here. Have the financial wherewithal to hire a digital marketing agency like Array Digital, I get it. It’s cool. You know, we offer advice to everybody here. So like I’ve, I, I openly say to people, like, if you’re just starting out, then do as much as you can on your own. Build your own website, Get it off of w Weebley Go Daddy, Squarespace. I mean, there’s thousands of places that you can build a website for free. My, my book, right Behind Me, Million Dollar Journey, I, I, I put that in the book like, don’t, don’t call someone like me. Don’t call an agency. You’re wasting your money. Do it yourself. It’s the same with the lead generation magnets. I think you should do this yourself. Now, at some point, you’re not gonna have the time, the bandwidth, the desire you just need to outsource it.
And you need a professional, right? Cause you can only do so much when you’re not a professional digital marketing agency like we are. So do the best that you can. You’ll start to get some results and, and that will generate some revenue. You can hire some staff that will generate more revenue. And at a certain point, you’re gonna be like, you know what? It’s time to go to the experts. And that’s when you should call Array Digital. So I really like lead Generation Magnets. I really like sprinkling calls to action on our website.
