Erik recently interviewed Joe White who was a baseball coach turned business coach. They talked about how people work day in and day out and where their passions lie. The majority of employees are not engaged at work. They’re kind of just robots.
It’s a shame that people get themselves into this predicament. We spend so much of our lives at work and if you are miserable doing what you do, you need to find something new to do with your time and your life. We spend too much time at work to just punch a clock. You have to find a passion for what you do day in and day out. If you are a leader of an organization, you have to help people find that passion.
