Times are tough right now for businesses and individuals. It’s possible if you’re listening to this you may have recently gone out of business. There aren’t many businesses the Coronavirus pandemic hasn’t affected. Some industries are doing better than before the virus outbreak but many others are not.
For the last couple of years Erik and Kevin have struggled to pick a niche for their business. Everyone told them that they should, but they were never able to decide. That has turned out to work in our favor during this crisis. Had we decided to niche in retail businesses for example, we would be out of business right now. We have taken a hit in revenue but we are stable for the time being.
We have had to make big decisions quickly. When we saw that some of our clients were doing better than others we decided to focus on getting more of those types of clients now. We quickly created a sales process focused on getting more of those clients and we started creating web pages to add to our website aimed at attracting those clients. The goal is to try and make our business recession-proof. Adapting quickly is critical for that.
Think about what changes you could make to adapt your business in these difficult times and act quickly. It could mean the difference between making it and not.
