The Department of Marketing at Old Dominion University has invited three panelists from the local community to participate in their upcoming Digital Marketing Fitting Room. Panelists will answers questions from students who are interested in a career in Digital Marketing. The event will be held at the Strome Entrepreneurial Center from 12:30 to 1:20 on April 4th, 2017. Panelists for this years events include Peyton Hoffman from Dominion Dealer Solutions, Kassaundra Kidman from vh.AGENCY,  and Jake Maines from Array Digital. Peyton Hoffman

Peyton is a high energy, dynamic marketing professional, with 13+ years of public relations and event management expertise across both the real estate and automotive internet technology industries. She is passionate about establishing B2B earned media efforts and leveraging strategic public relations to drive product demand. Peyton has a successful history of creating new ventures between previously unrelated media, businesses, talent, or projects. She is a self-motivated planner who sets high standards for both self and team. At Dominion Dealer Solutions, Peyton works to position the company and its partners as leaders in cutting edge automotive technology.

Kassaundra Kidman

In 2006, Kassaundra was getting her hands greasy working on F-18 Super Hornets at NAS Oceana. During her time in the US Navy, she was awarded Plane Captain of the Year at VFA-106 and received two Naval Achievement Metals from VFA-106 and VFA-136. After six and a half years of service, Kassaundra decided to pursue her passion for marketing and went on to receive a dual Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Management from Old Dominion University. While studying at Old Dominion University, Kassaundra was Fundraiser Coordinator for the American Marketing Association Marketing club for the 2014/2015 school year, and served as President for the 2015/2016 school year. Kassaundra’s marketing talents won her first place for the KATEC sales pitch competition, and first place for the Radical Skincare Care social media competition, both at ODU. In 2016, Kassaundra joined vh.AGENCY where she gained various certifications for Google’s advertising programs. She also assists clients with their digital marketing strategies, AdWords, social media campaigns, and website development projects. She handles a majority of the marketing research and utilizes Google analytics to make informed decisions about how to optimize our marketing efforts of our numerous clients. Her keen eye for detail is being utilized for website design and marketing creative across multiple platforms. Jake Maines

Jake Maines graduated from Old Dominion University with a Degree in Marketing in the Summer of 2015. His passion for Digital Marketing began during his undergraduate years when he held a position at the Webb University Center as the Public Relations Associate. During the Spring semester of his senior year he attained an internship with Foreign Staffing, Inc. as the Social Media Marketing Intern. This position led into a full time role and he eventually became the Director of Digital Marketing. Jake recently left Foreign Staffing to begin a career with Array Digital as the Digital Marketing Manager. At Array Digital, Jake provides clients with Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and Lead Generation support.

THE MAIN Event – raising $1 million for the arts

Over the past three years, Array Digital has worked with Gold Key PHR to optimize their software systems and provide cutting-edge solutions. Array Digital recently developed the eCommerce website that facilitates ticket sales for THE MAIN Event to provide a user-friendly purchase experience for event patrons. THE MAIN Event is presented by TowneBank, with the goal of raising $1 million for local arts institutions and programs as attendees enjoy the state-of-the art amenities offered by Norfolk’s newest hotel and conference center. The event will be held from March 24 – 26, and will feature a concert by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, with Tony Award-winning Broadway star Kelli O’Hara and acclaimed Music Director and Conductor Rob Fisher. To house the larger team, Array Digital purchased a new office in Chesapeake. The new office was architected by the award winning Ionic DeZign Studios in Virginia Beach.
